Save the Date for the New Year!

So we are creating Save The Date cards, rather than invitations right now, so that we still get something out to people, but don’t jump the gun too much.

I hate printers.

First off we bought a Japanese printer a last year, (technically Mike bought it because it was here before I was). Mostly we’ve been using it for photo printing to send home to people because we were having connection problems to our computer. But our Save the Date Cards and the Invitations (plus more I’m sure) hinges on us printing them out to save money and being more DIY.

So I fix the printer.
Then I start printing Save the Date Cards.
Then I print half of them backwards. OK that sucks, but with the half that are good I can decorate and add addresses.
Wait I’ve only got 14 addresses! So that means that I can’t finish decorating them, because the addresses need to go on first.
Then I run low/out of black ink.
So all this money saving strategies that I have aren’t working out exactly due to technical/idiot/material/information issues.

Yep I’m so glad to be a bride on a budget, little alone a bride on a budget in another country with annoying time differences. Why couldn’t I be in Brazil, I mean it’s got like a no time difference, just a season flip.
The funny thing is that when mistakes like this happens I usually repeat my mother’s saying of ‘Oh well, you’ll know for next time’ but I’m thinking that’s not appropriate when referring to a wedding. So I don’t even have a practical saying for this, alas!

Anyway would love some addresses please! If you read this, and know people who don't but have their addresses, please send them!
To you who are moving in January, or have recently moved on not given me your address, I need it! Or if I never had it I need it obviously!

Well Merry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year!
